I still remember, saw a post on internet on Aug 2013 saying "One Way to Mars One Program" application deadline is 31st of August 2013". I was surprised What?How?When ? Just started to Google as usual. Found website.
"HTTP://apply.mars-one.com/" Application Fee for the program was 5 $.
Application included a video of mine (Max of 70 sec duration) with 3 questions to answer (I do not want to show this video :P )
1. Why do you wanna go mars ?
2.Describe your sense of humor ?
3.What makes you the best candidate for this program ?
Some more descriptive questions like
1) Situation you managed your stress
2)Motivation for the program
3)Can you stay away from your family forever ?
and few more which I do not remember now
Almost 10 days over. I received email from Mars-Once saying application has been accepted and went for further reviewing. Okay, I left with a question. "Do I have to go Mars" ?##?
30th Dec 2013 results were out. I made it to the next round among 1057 other candidates around the globe!! I got a chance to talk couple of candidates like me over phone too.
But now I quit this program (2nd round: Medical Examination), sent email to reject my application as I can not imagine going one way to Mars! :(
